Introduction: Most Land Surveyors do not do the work themselves, they have subordinate employees do most if not all of the work under their direction. Every phase of my projects are completed by myself. It is my license and I feel it is important that I complete the project.
With a strong graphic art background I feel that the work I create looks great and is very thorough and accurate. My maps speak for themselves, there are many items I include on my maps that other surveyors do not, these items (detailed roof diagrams, ridge heights, roof pitch, major views, area calculations, ect.) are specifically for other professionals involved in the project (architects, engineers) to assist them in the project
It is really satisfying to be able to be outside taking field measurements to make a great looking map of someones property. Also finding extremely old evidence previous surveyors have left sometimes 100+ years ago is really rewarding.

In order to get a topographic survey, we contacted numerous surveyors/surveying companies. Many of them were either 1) trying to charge exorbitant amounts that went over our budget, 2) Restricted their work within their local county and or 3) not available anytime soon to meet our schedule. Out of the few that we narrowed upon, we finally chose Travis/TerraGraphic Land Surveying. Travis was proactive and did his prep-work in contacting the city for landmarks, etc. prior to the appointment. He arrived promptly on the day of the service, spent several hours on the surveying and his quality of work is great ! He was prompt in getting back on some clarifications required in the context of hte survey. He receives 5 stars for Excellent communication (available on email/cell), Speedy responses, prompt, great service, reasonable prices and being technologically savvy (he sent us electronic copies for review soon after the service and equally prompt in sending the printed copies as a follow-on. In short, he was a pleasure to work with. Try using Travis for all your surveying requirements and you'll not regret it !
