The passion I have for my vocal students has become the highlight and joy of my singing career. I’m a classically trained Broadway veteran and I understand the importance of solid vocal technique and the need for strong performance/audition skills. If you are someone who wants to expand their voice and repertoire and have a great fun doing it then I’m your teacher. I’m energetic, creative and absolutely love what I do. My goal is to guide you to excellence! I teach all ages 5- 90 plus.
I offer half hour, forty five minute and hourly sessions in my Temecula, California private studio or online through FaceTime.

Janene is an absolute delight. Not only is she an amazing teacher, but she's also a wonderful person. I was nervous because I'd never had any formal voice training before, but from the moment I walked in, her kindness and warmth were immediately apparent.
As a teacher, she's helped me grow in both my technique and my confidence as a vocalist while still being honest and direct about the areas where I need to improve.
She genuinely wants to see her students succeed, and I think that's one of the best qualities any teacher can have.

First off she is an incredible performer. A true diva in the best sense. Her vocal (and acting) agility, nuance and depth are unparalleled. I am lucky enough to take lessons with her and in just a few lessons the change in my voice was so obvious. She is an expert at getting to the center of what your voice needs just by hearing you. She is an amazingly laser sharp focused vocal technician in the best way.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My studio fee's are $75 for the hour, $60 for 45 minutes and $40 for the half hour.
I do offer packages.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a weekly session and time has been established, I assess the ability of the student. From there I introduce or reintroduce the basic's- breathing, vocal exercise and how it relates to the physical body. Then we move to music! I listen to whatever the student is interested in, and then I make suggestions on how to achieve that goal. It's always very inspiring to be apart of my students vocal growth while teaching the fundamentals of voice training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a professional singer I have studied voice for 40 years! My earlier classical training was with my mentor, the late Maurice Allard. Since then, I have studied with Guy Babusek (The Institute of Voice Advancement), the amazing Robert Sussman and Tom Berke both in New York. My vocal education combined with my own professional career experience is a culmination of these master teachers.
