FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Costs vary based on the scope of work. A basic grab bar installation might be $300-600, while comprehensive bathroom remodeling typically ranges from $5,000-15,000+. We provide transparent, itemized pricing with our free in-home assessment—no hidden fees or pressure to upsell. We also accept multiple payment methods including cash, check, credit card, Venmo, and Zelle.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We follow a simple 3-step process: 1) Free In-Home Assessment—We visit your home, evaluate accessibility challenges, and listen to your goals with no obligation or pressure. 2) Customized Plan—You receive a transparent proposal with clear pricing, timeline, and prioritized recommendations. 3) Professional Installation—Our skilled technicians handle everything with precision and care, with ongoing support after completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All ACE Access Homes team members hold CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) credentials from the National Association of Home Builders. CAPS certification requires extensive training in accessibility design, aging-in-place principles, safety standards, and clinical knowledge. This is far more specialized than general contracting—we're experts specifically trained to design homes that support independence, dignity, and safety for aging adults and people with mobility challenges.
