FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lead fees are out of control these days. Sites like this one and Yelp charge a bunch of money just for the opportunity to speak to a new potential client. On yelp our conversion rate is like 1 out of 5 on Thumbtack its a little better because they only put us against like 4 other contractors but our overall average cost just to talk to you not including what we spend on google ads is close to $125. So when we do a $180 Service Call and fix your broken switch we actually lose money to do it. The larger the project the more money they charge us to speak to you. All that information just to say "Please keep in mind every contractor on this site has paid for the privilege to just speak to you" Many just pass that cost on to you but we look at the Lifetime Value of having met you. We aim to keep you as a customer for life and have you refer us to your friends and family. That being the goal. you can bet we are going to do anything in our power to leave you happy as can be. Otherwise it'd be smarter to just burn the money and save us both the headache of writing or dealing with negative reviews. BTW we don't have that many reviews since we just started this company officially 6 months ago but every one we have is 5 stars and ZERO were paid for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do both Service Call work and larger jobs like remodels or panel upgrades. For Larger jobs we like to schedule a site visit to go over everything with our potential client and provide several options for them to choose from to solve their issue. This is free. For smaller jobs like outlets not working or power issues we do Service Calls for this service we charge $180/hr for our team for as many hours as it takes to complete the project or fix the issue. We do not include materials that may be necessary. We aim to make every client a client for life. You won't find a more fair, more competent crew in the South Bay. We just treat everyone as though they were a member of our family in the same situation and help in any way we can.
