Cory did an excellent job in both the dining room and the bonus room. It’s obvious that he did not rush his work because the paint lines are crisp and exact, without any paint drips or any roller strokes anywhere. The previous owner had gotten some roller marks on the ceiling and the trim. Cory took the time to match some paint to the ceiling and fixed those roller marks. It’s been about a month and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I definitely plan to use Stone Fortress Custom Painters again!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the construction industry for over twenty years and have run my own business doing home renovations and interior painting for the past eight years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working as a teenager in the construction industry with my father who owned a home remodeling business.
Since then I have worked in several different trades including residential framing, finish carpentry and home painting.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get estimates from multiple contractors.
Be sure to ask about their process for performing the work you are having done.
(If they can’t explain the process in a clear and concise way, then they probably don’t understand it themselves).
Look for detailed estimates. This attention to detail will be reflected in their work.
