- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I generally need further information so I'd ask that most potential clients to call me and we'll discuss what you need, nothing complicated.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I find out what your needs are, but I have mine also aka how many guests, time you want, type of magic you wish, age range, and location (aka travel time).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Magic tends to be a very big field, however I read the various periodicals put out by the magic organizations. I also attend club meetings regularly to see lectures and learn about new material. So far as the performance goes I've been known to go to improv classes or take a drama class on occassion to improve overall performing skills. I try to watch magic programs on TV to see what/if anything is new and exciting along with how they perform. Another thing I do on occassion is attend conventions as these are a great way to see what's new and may/might "fit" my act/personality. Finally, I pick up some of the books and pamphlets pertaining to magic and performance and read them to get what I can that is "new" out of them. Of course there are numerous U-Tube videos along with Magic DVD's to watch and learn from When I started I my community outreach folks offered a Magic Class which I took, than I researched for others to take near by and took those including training at the WORLD FAMOUS MAGIC CASTLE.
