I always deliver a preview around one week after your session. Your final gallery usually takes 2-3 weeks for portraits and 3-5 weeks for weddings!

Nicky photographed our September 2014 wedding in Lake Tahoe. Professionally, Nicky was quick to communicate, kept in contact throughout the planning process, met us at several locations to discuss details, and made every effort to make this process as easy and enjoyable as possible. She is incredibly friendly and is easy to work with. As far as pictures, we are so grafetul, Nicky captured our wedding with her beautiful pictures. Perhaps her greatest asset was her ability to capture great shots, without intruding on guests and the "atmosphere." She photographed the specific shots we requested, in addition to so many more. She knew just when the lighting was perfect at specific locations. She had helpful suggestions and feedback that really made our day wonderful.

Fantastic Photographer! Very talented. Worked with Nicole several times, hiring her for baby photos and family photos. The pictures came out beautiful and we had a great time taking the pictures. She is such a professional!

I have used Nicky for two family photo sessions and have been ecstatic with the photos each time. She came to our home for one and we went on location for the other. She was on time and flexible as to how long the sessions would take since we were dealing with a baby and her turnaround for getting pictures back to us was fast. I can't wait to book her for our next big event!

FAQs

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually went to college to study meteorology! Took one semester of Calculus (ew) and discovered that my college also had an excellent Photojournalism program. I figured, I've always had a camera, let's try it. That summer I got my first job with a wedding studio in West Michigan and have been shooting weddings, portraits and everything else since!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I think a lot of people assume that when you're a photographer, you work a few hours then have the rest of the week off. Most photographers like me are workaholics. We care very deeply about the quality of our work and the happiness of our clients so we spend the rest of the week editing, answering emails, updating our blogs, etc. It's a lot of work but you couldn't ask for a better job!
