Teaches very high level jujitsu to just about any level. Very good at making sure you understand what you’re doing and why you are doing it which makes learning the systems much easier. Whether your wanting to take your to take your jujitsu to the next level for competition or just wanting to learn some self defense and enjoy a fun hobby this is the place to be.

Jiujitsu as a sport can be overwhelming at first based on its complexities and problem solving. Evolution is something that needs to be continually performed to progress. Finding a Coach/Teacher that can guide you through the process by exposing you to concepts and systems is invaluable. I have trained under Mike Cruz in both a class and private setting since moving to the Valley. Mike works tirelessly on and off the mats to show not only the modern game of jiujitsu at its highest level but also the approach the is needed physically and Mentally. I would recommend to anyone to contact Mike to improve your game and evolve to the next level regardless of belt level, or time in the sport.

This gym is top tier, the instructor Mike Cruz is one of the most knowledgeable and professional trainers I’ve know , and I’ve been training Bjj for 20 years. If you’re serious about jiu jitsu or just want to learn more, this is the gym. I can’t recommend this gym enough.

My training experience with Coach Mike at Guerrilla Jujitsu Academy was nothing short of exceptional.
