FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unless you are a member at one of the local franchises a massage is listed anywhere from $80 to $129 for an hour depending on the environment. To drive, set up, break down equipment and perform service will take close to 1.5 - 2 hrs total. Therefore, I consider $99 for a hands on hour session to be fair. I will discount my services to two reasons: 1) multiple sessions (family members) per visit I would lower my price to $75 per session. Or, I would ask a lower rate of $75 per session if the client has their own equipment (table, sheets) that is set up upon arrival.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My current interest has been in Lymphatic and Myofascial work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My wife was in a head on auto accident before we married in 1993. One of the only healthcare modalities that helped alleviate her pain and her headaches was Massage Therapy. After being complimented on my hands many times and knowing her condition was semi-permanent, I decided to go through a training program in CO to help her as she needs it. She is doing much better and only needs thorough work once a month to help keep her tension in check.
