- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Basic Obedience and STAR Puppy Group Classes are $120 for six sessions*. Private Obedience sessions are $30 per session*. Private Problem Solving sessions are $35 per session* Private Behavior sessions are $40 per session*
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer evaluations for behavior and problem solving clients. After getting a complete history of the dog, the environment and the family I can then provide a management plan to prevent the unwanted behaviors and outline a treatment plan of usually 6 to 8 sessions, to teach the dog new and wanted behaviors. Payment is per session as we go.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completed the University of Washington's Applied Animal Behavior program and a graduate of the CATCH Dog Training Academy and completed an internship under an experienced trainer. I am a mentor for both CATCH Dog Training Academy and the Animal Behavior College interns. I am a CPDT-Ka as well as an ABCDT-L2 certified trainer. I attend seminars, network with other trainers and get Continuing Education Credits to stay current and continue learning.. A former board member of the Morongo Basin Humane Society, a UKC SPOT and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, Therapy Pets Unlimited Evaluator, Service Dog Awareness and Education outreach program and Be A Tree presenter.
