FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning. In this field, the science is always evolving, as is the way to administer treatments. I take continuing education classes as well as read articles, watch videos and attend workshops to improve my knowledge and increase my skill level.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an athlete for years. I played football, ran track and engaged in the martial arts. That being said, I injured just about everything you can on the human body. There were times after rigorous sparring matches or classes, where I could barely move, I was so sore. My instructors would do mini massages on us and the difference was huge!! I wanted that power. The power to make pain go away (without drugs or surgery) is paramount to me!!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients have pain issues, most have had them for extended periods of time. My work centers around pain prevention, correction and overall quality of life through better health. Whether shoulder, neck, back, hips, knees, arms or any other parts of you in pain from soft tissue strains, pulls or general overuse, I release the pain and encourage the gain. I help increase better range of motion, flexibility, recovery from injuries, reduce stress and anxiety while increasing your ability to focus and develop better awareness of your body.
