We had shelving built around our fireplace. Mark and his brother are professional and flexible. And they always clean up before leaving for the day. I have already referred them to family and FB people looking for wood workers. Call him, have him give you a quote, you won't be disappointed. ( he does other kinds of work too, besides wood)Aug 29, 2015Verified
Builders, Inc.'s timeline. . I cant say enough about Mark and Steve Quigley of Environmental Builders, Inc.. The work they do is top notch. Their attention to detail is rare in this industry. Their compassion for their clients is nothing short of amazing. They not only cleaned up a huge nasty water damaged mess that had occurred behind shower walls for years and rebuilt it from the ground up, no literally they were down to the dirt in demolition, but they were kind and considerate all through out the job to my family. I trust them to be in my home alone with no worries. I am beyond pleased with this job and if I were a rich person they deserve to be paid more than my budget allowed for all they did for us but they worked with me and gave me a more than fair deal. This was a month long job and Mark and Steve became friends of the family because of their kind, compassionate and honest characters. I will never hire anyone else. I highly recommend Environmental Builders for any large construction or remodel job. These guys can handle any mess you can throw at them with all their years of experience.Nov 20, 2015Verified
I met Mark while prospecting advertisers for my previous employer. He was extremely personable and passionate so when I had a pipe rupture in my ceiling, causing water to pool above my kitchen, I called Mark in a panic! He came right out and patched the pipe, pulled wet insulation, and set up drying system! He was a life saver!! And his portfolio is very impressive so when I'm ready to take on bigger projects, he will absolutely be my first choice!Oct 14, 2015
A year ago, Mark worked on my house replacing my siding, painting and then refurbished my deck. I would hire him again without second thought! Mark is very customer oriented, it's important to him. He is trust worthy, honest and has great attention to detail. Those qualities are hard to find nowadays...Kudos Mark!Oct 12, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We handle each and every job as an independent project with unique clients that have their own personal wants and needs. There is no blanket pricing as almost every job we do needs hands on special attention and custom tailored solutions. We agonize to give our clients exactly what they want...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We typically connect over the internet or by phone. A top priority in such early contact is to determine if we are "a good fit". Environmental Builders, Inc. is well known for their quality craftsmanship and value that is realized over time. In short, our work lasts for decades... If a client is interested in price, price, price, we are talking to the wrong prospect. We offer FREE onsite consultations to learn more about the proposed project. And from there, we talk budget and bring in more team members as required be it: CAD Drafting; Title 24 Energy Analysis; Structural Engineering; Specialty Sub-contractors and the like. It is a long process and one of team building toward a win-win contract, never an adversarial relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As a UC Berkeley graduate, I am a total information magnate. I happen to be a very curious person and totally invested in my profession. In short, I want to know all the latest tools, technologies, theories, and best practices of the industry. Monthly, I receive about a dozen trade manuals that help me keep current on my construction industry education. About three months ago, I went to school and become E.P.A. -RRP Lead Paint Certified in addition to my Haz/Mat certification I hold. Continuing education is a joy for me...
