I love Jackie! Her positive energy really helped the mood as we were all prepping for the upcoming wedding- she is the sweetest and adaptable person. We did a trial run prior to my wedding, and she studied my hair and brought her A game, even brought cute accessories day-of - my hair looked absolutely stunning - I was so happy. Earlier that morning I had my makeup done with someone else for a Korean ceremony where I cried a lot lol, and she was able to quickly touch up my face before the American ceremony in the afternoon. She also was very kind and conscious to not bother me with payment until after the wedding, which helped ease my already anxious mind for the day. If you want someone who sincerely cares about you and your day, values connection, brings a good spirit - and of course makes your hair look so fancy- Jackie is your gal!

I almost didn't seek out getting my hair and makeup done, but am SO GLAD that I did and that I found Star!!! I'm a pretty big critic, especially with my appearance, but Star just made me look stunning. I wasn't even quite sure what weddinghair I wanted, but she was all over it and it was just perfect. Unfortunately I have almost no photos due to a drunken photographer tragedy, but here is one a friend took after the ceremony in the after party dress.

The pricing on Thumbtack are at a discounted rate and will be honored on all first time bookings.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process starts with establishing a understanding of the desired look that you would like myself or a team member of Star High Beauty to achieve. We can establish that through pictures of yourself from previous photo shoot or selfies, online images or our online photo gallery.
Once your desired look has been picked and recommendations have been made based on your facial features, skin type and or hair texture etc... We will confirm the date, time and location after you have reserved your booking with a 50% deposit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Cosmetologist. I graduated from Milan Institute Of Cosmetology of Fairfield Ca, in 2012.
