Excellent teacher who understand needs of students

When we moved to Los Angeles two years ago, Adam was the piano teacher who received the highest recommendation from our previous teacher. He has taught our children for almost two years now, and my wife and I couldn't be happier. I can briefly mention three things we appreciate about Adam's teaching.
First, I believe his teaching includes a good balance of accountability and funkids need bothand our children's advancement and enjoyment in playing piano indicate he's struck that balance. Second, the multiple opportunities Adam arranges for the children to perform and compete have added immensely to their piano education. Not only do they provide goals for the kids to pursue, the competitions and recitals are lots of fun! Finally, his personal love for playing the piano beautifully and his passion for excellence are contagious; and we have seen our kids grow in those same areas.
We would highly recommend Adam as a piano teacher.

Adam is an amazing teacher who has taught me and covered everything there is for me to know on piano. He was always there ready for me to play, right when I walked in. Adam was kind and helpful and taught me so much! He is a wonderful piano teacher!

Adam and Anna are both talented and gifted musicians and wonderful teachers. Their passion for music translates to energy and enthusiasm in each lesson. I am thankful for the opportunity my three sons had to sit under their tutelage and learn not only how to play piano but also develop an even greater love and appreciation for music.

Adam Bendorf provided the foundation to my music career. I came to him knowing only what I had taught myself (which amounted to a few Coldplay songs), and quickly became engrossed in the classical world.
His knowledge of classical music and theory is staggering, and for this reason, I could not have asked for a better teacher.
In addition, as I began to explore the realms of improv and composition, he encouraged and guided me and allowed me to advance much faster than I would have alone.
What could have been better? Not his teaching, that's for sure; the only problem was that I didn't practice enough!
