Introduction: I can teach you how to be a rock and roll star. Whether you want to learn classical, jazz, pop, country, or blues on the piano, I'm the instructor for you. I can also teach you how to play rock drums behind a band, and show you how to deliver exactly what they want. If you are a vocalist, and you are looking to accompany yourself behind the keys, I specialize in that type of performance. I've been playing piano professionally for 10 years, and have a wealth of knowledge I would be happy to share. Before that, I was a touring drummer for 2 years. I'm pretty easygoing, and understand it can be a bit intimidating seeking help. I like to think that we are all students though, and some of us have just been working at it longer than others. If you are interested in reading music or learning by ear, I can show you how to do both. If there is an artist you admire, and you want to play like them, I'll sit with you and hammer out the details. Also, if you are a songwriter, and need help with a melody or chords to back up your melody, I can do that as well. I am quite patient. If you are a beginner, and just feel the urge to get started with an instrument, I'll do the walk with you and hold your hand through the process. Music has brought me a lot of enjoyment through my life and sharing this gift with others is how I repay those who gave this gift to me.
