What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is on the Dulci Paws website. They range from $20 for a potty walks to $40 for a dog park visit for up to two pups. We also have weekly pricing available for walks. We also offer boarding and pet sitting services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we get a call or email. Any questions will be answered. If the client would like move forward, we usually set up a free consultation. I will email forms to be filled for the pet(s). I also bring hard copies to the consult in case they cannot print or fill it out beforehand. At the consult, the client can decide whether they would like to move forward. Once forms are filled and the consult is done, the client can call/email/text anytime to schedule future visits.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I attended business school in Los Angeles and gained valuable experience in the fast-paced business world. But I soon realized that I wanted to work with pets. In 2012, I made the decision to begin my own business, Dulci Paws. My own companions include a Yorkie named AiAi, a Maltese/Shitzu mix named Cookie, and my newest addition, a Beagle/Chihuaha mix named Lucky. I love spending time with pets and giving them the love and care they deserve.
