Planning to see a photographer that you've never met in a different state can be nerve-racking. This is the situation that I found myself in, after looking through about 20 different photographers profiles I ended up narrowing down my decision to three people. One Photographer stood out to me among those three for many reasons. Maxwell was prompt with response and very helpful. He helped me learn about the different beaches and different areas. He saw my vision and chose a location that would best fit it. His prices are beyond affordable and to be perfectly honest once you see his work, you might be shocked that he is affordable. The amount of pictures I got back was another huge incentive. I find Photographers charging double what he wanted and offering me 8-10 prints. I had a whole album to look through. I have over 60 photos that I am quite literally obsessed with . Typically when a photographer gives me a whole album to look through, I can find 1-5 photos that I can't live without. If that helps puts this comment into perspective. When the day finally came, he not only confirmed the time and location beforehand, he then helped me when I was slightly lost. He never made me feel rushed. He is humble, funny, creative, and very much so in the right industry. My pictures turned out dreamy. I had become my Pinterest inspiration board. Actually my pictures completely blew my Pinterest inspiration out of the water (no pun intended). Overall, this was a 12/10. I am a business owner and have very high expectations for other business owners. I couldn't come up with one negative thing to say about our experience. Maxwell is a boss.

I felt excited for professional photos but also nervous to have the attention on me. After spending some time with Max and testing out different locations and seeing the quality of the photos I felt beautiful. From there I was able to let go and simply have fun with it. Max sent me everything I needed to know and made me feel comfortable before it even started. Any questions I had he answered quickly and that helped ease the nerves! He truly wanted me to feel comfortable and capture truly candid shots.

Max is such a sweet photographer! He's very accommodating and listened to all our ideas to make our vision of our engagement pictures come to life. He spends time to take the angle needed. We love the contrast of colors and black/white feature in our photos! He's very good with the turn around time as well. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We hired Maxwell to photograph our engagement party and he was fantastic! He arrived early and took photos of items and decorations we wouldn’t even have thought to photograph. We have a wonderful mix of close ups of decorations, candids of people, and some posed family photos. The photo album he sent captured the feelings and atmosphere of the party perfectly. We were so thankful to have him photograph our party and wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't charge per photo! I want you to have every great photo we take at your session. No travel fees if you're within the greater Los Angeles area.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I rediscovered my love for photography during my own wedding! We hired an amazing photographer who did our engagement photos as well as our wedding. The whole process was fascinating to me and I knew that I wanted to change careers into wedding photography. Being involved in such an important day in someone's life is amazing.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take the time to meet or talk with your photographer before you book with them. Photo shoots should be as fun and stress-free as possible! Also make sure their style matches the look you're going for.
