FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge time and material. My rate is 45 per hour, and I will provide material cost on the invoice at the completion of the project. My experience has been that time and material is a win-win situation for both parties. I'm not there working; you aren't paying. I'm there working, you'll see your project moving forward and know you will need to pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon initial contact, get a brief but clear description of work to be performed and the time frame the client is expecting. End of initial contact set appointment for in person meeting. After the introduction, visually inspect the project to help determine any potential unforeseen concerns and/or special requests from the client. Provide client with rough estimate for time frame and cost to complete the project
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training have been and still is 85% hands-on experience, and I never stop learning. Every day, there is a new challenge to figure out a solution for. The other 15%, I am taking classes to further my knowledge and understanding of computer programs, blueprint reading, and staying current with codes.
