So upon the technician’s arrival, he seemed to be very nice and honest, but I have to be honest since this is a review and this is a business. I liked everything up until the technician agreed to do the repair stated that he was going to get the part and then didn’t show back up because he had reached out to the owner after I had already told him the owner confirmed that he would pay to fix the problem. The other thing that bothered me is that the technician mentioned that he had a fear of not getting paid based off of a prior experience, but in my opinion, I can’t help but feel is because of the way we looked. We sent him the $69 that he stated needed to be sent just for coming out to assess the problem so I have no idea why he would think that he would not be paid and use a prior experience and take that out on us. We were honest and friendly. When you own a business, you know that you’re gonna deal with different people that’s why you should be insured and have your business covered just in case of shady people, but I do not think that you should judge a book by its cover and think that you’re going to be paid due to a prior experience moving forward, he ended up being paid by the owner. The owner was busy and missed his phone call. The problem was very minimal and he was able to swap out our thermostat in less than 20 minutes. The thing that bothered me the most is that once he receive confirmation from the owner, we had to wait hours for the repair to be completed because he had other jobs something about the way he did Business just did not sit right with me, but at the end of the day, the job was complete and I am thankful for that. I would have not said anything, but I keep getting emails asking for a review and I have to be honest because I do not feel like he handled us in a professional matter when it came to the form of payment I do feel like this business needs to come up with a better Transaction maybe ask for a credit card to hold upfront if they have a fear of not getting paid due to prior experiences, but you should never take that out on your customers that is not fair and if you do, you should let the customer know upfront because I definitely would have chosen to not do business with him if he told me that he wanted to be paid upfront Due to a prior experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in the HVAC industry in 2014 as an apprentice to an experienced install team. From there I had several great mentors and co workers that taught me the service and repair side of the business and went from install apprentice to senior technician. I now run and operate my own HVAC business and take pride in providing top notch service for every customer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I would give customers looking to hire a provider is TRUST. Without trust neither party is fully happy with the outcome.
