- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll ask you a lot of questions to understand your business issues, your goals and motivations, I'll ask you what has worked and what has not worked in the past, then I'll ask you for data and marketing samples from your past. Then I'll develop a plan and a budget and then return and present it to you for approval. Once you approve the plan, I'll go out and execute it for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Stanford MBA, a former commercial bank loan officer and I've held marketing positions at companies large and small [Del Monte Foods, The Clorox Company, Intuit, Peet's Coffee & Tea, Cartridge World, CocoaBella Chocolates.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I successfully implemented internet marketing at a couple of small businesses and saw the power it has to build a business. When I decided to consult rather than to work for a company full time, I evaluated all of the different types of marketing I've used and decided internet marketing has the highest power to help small businesses achieve growth.
