Introduction: I am a private / small group yoga instructor based out of Idyllwild, CA. I have been teaching since 2014 and completed a 1000hr Yoga Therapy certification in 2020 that helps tailor the practice to an individuals needs. My teachings range from yoga for fitness (Ashtanga / Vinyasa) to therapeutic practices that range from pain management, post injury rehabilitation, stress management and curbing the symptoms of anxiety and depression. I make house calls (or park) and can supply all the equipment necessary. Reach your health and wellness goals sooner with a tailored practice!

My knowledge of yoga was a form of workout and good stretching. After I met Kyuri as my yoga instructor, boy did she change my mind in a heartbeat and now I have a new respect for the art of yoga. I was a mom second time around, sleep deprived, fatigued, and very emotional. I was too tired to change the usual pattern of my motherhood but I knew I needed something to get out of this vicious cycle. When i had my first session with Kyuri, we started with a conversation about my emotional, physical, and mental well being. This is part of her process so she understands my needs and tailors the entire sessions around it. Did I mention she’s so easy to talk to and a great listener? She knew I needed better sleep, adjust my posture from carrying both kids around and find serenity and peace in my racing mind. I noticed each session was different from the previous because there is a change in myself each time we met. I truly appreciated that, she listened to my story. Because from it she has the ability and wisdom in her art to really meet and cater to my needs. My progress was visible. Once Kyuri helped me reach peace in my mind and heart, I started to recognize my old self, the happy energized mom and most importantly I gained back my confidence. There is no greater gift you can give to a overworked, tired mom than giving her the joy she gets from her own confidence. And I can’t forget it and thank Kyuri enough for bringing me back.

I love yoga. Unfortunately, due to my form being incorrect, I hurt my rotator cuff pretty bad. Bad enough where I thought I would not be able to go back to something I really enjoyed. All I could think of is, what can I do to make sure my form is correct and know exactly how I am supposed to feel. Then came Kyuri. Not only is she passionate about Yoga, her knowledge of the practice was drawing. We had yoga sessions and after each session I felt so rejuvenated. Her radiate energy inspired my love right back! She taught me how my form was supposed to be and where exactly I would feel this stretch. Doing so, my practice today is SOOO much better. I feel like a stronger individual and I have no one else to thank but Kyuri! I have recommended her to many of my family and friends and will continue to do so. She has this drive to keep challenging her body to create change and do these amazing poses !!! If you haven’t taken a class with Kyuri, you are set missing out.

Kyuri is the absolute BEST!! I was introduced to Kyuri by a friend when I was experiencing a very difficult time in my life. I had no yoga experience but upon meeting her she made me feel comfortable and was incredibly knowledgeable in guiding me through poses and working with my limitations. After each lesson I felt energized and I could definitely see results physically over time.
