- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When the job requires a time and materials rate, I charge $50/hr. And depending on the length of drive to the job, I will bill for drive time to the site one way only.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First: a phone call between the new customer and I will take place in order to gather all the needed details for the job. Many times pictures are very helpful during this process and are preferred to be emailed. From there, we can proceed with either a rough estimate , or discuss an hourly rate. Depends on the project. Sometimes it is not possible to give an estimate with out further on-site inspection
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In-the-field training, hands-on experience. I have been in the building trades since 1996.
