Molding or baseboards,
Appreciated Matt's quick response, professionalism and work ethic.Aug 29, 2016Verified
Matt was responsive, prompt, creative, and flexible. His work is impeccable, and he does what he says he is going to do. He created a beautiful, arched (it was previously rectangular) door jamb for us and hung our new swinging door. He also built an amazing, tiered shelving unit for our liquor cabinet pull out drawer. Upon completion of the job, he cleaned up so well that we could hardly tell he had been there at all. We can't speak highly enough about him, his work, and his work ethic. We would hire him again in a heartbeat! SO glad he was on Thumbtack!Nov 16, 2016Verified

Matt is an excellent and talented carpenter. I had a wine cellar that needed to be assembled. He responded to my project quickly providing enough detail to make a decision to hire him. Throughout the experience he was very pleasant to communicate with. He was on time and kept me updated from start to finish. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.Jan 25, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? When the job requires a time and materials rate, I charge $50/hr. And depending on the length of drive to the job, I will bill for drive time to the site one way only.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First: a phone call between the new customer and I will take place in order to gather all the needed details for the job. Many times pictures are very helpful during this process and are preferred to be emailed. From there, we can proceed with either a rough estimate , or discuss an hourly rate. Depends on the project. Sometimes it is not possible to give an estimate with out further on-site inspection
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In-the-field training, hands-on experience. I have been in the building trades since 1996.
