Introduction: JM ATELIER - Interior Designer duo Mackenzie White and Jordan Karkut, based in Los Angeles, CA have 10+ years of experience working in interior design. Both with a well rounded knowledge of the business process, design acumen and a strong network of luxury trade rooms, fabricators and resources, they are able to seamlessly execute each project start to finish. Their experience taps into entire home renovations and remodels, to simple refurnishing and redesign. Scope of project experience has spanned from nursery designs to entire high end home remodeling / furnishing.
JM ATELIER’s design style aims to merge the world of vintage and custom design with each project approached holistically allowing each project to reflect our client’s personal style, while all remaining contemporary and timeless. The design process is very structured, includes detailed budgets, project schedules and a process that allows clients to be as involved (or uninvolved) in design decisions as they would like. Communication and organization are a priority for this team, which has allowed long term happy client relationships.

I worked with Mackenzie and Jordan on my home in Brentwood, Los Angeles. After our introductory call they were quick to translate my vision and into a mood board that depicted exactly how I felt and the design I was going for. They were detailed in their budgets and delivered on budget (which I find is rare in this space!). They also helped design a couple custom pieces for me as accents, adding a uniqueness to the design. In addition, they truly saw the project through completion and the results were incredible. Interiors make or break a home and I wouldn't reccomend enough investing in a project with these two designers.

Working with JM Atelier was one of the best decisions that my fiancé and I have ever made! When we purchased our home last year we had no furniture and no direction on how we could renovate the house more to our liking. They helped us through the entire process from establishing the design vision through sourcing every piece and managing all of the contractors. All we had to do was join in on meetings and give approvals on options that they provided us with. They revamped our entire home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and floors, and furnished it all from scratch. We're absolutely in love with it. We love to host so it was important we had a place we were proud to call home.
Mackenzie and Jordan paid attention to every detail, ensuring a cohesive look throughout. Communication was easy, and their professionalism made the whole process seamless.
I highly recommend this duo for any home design project. They're truly talented and a pleasure to work with. I can't thank them enough for making my dream home a reality. I could not have done it without them!

JM Atelier worked wonders on two home projects I referred to clients as a realtor. For one client, they furnished the space, leaving them over the moon. For the other, which involved kitchen remodeling, floor changes, and paint updates, they handled it beautifully and the client was also very pleased! Both clients were thrilled with the results.
