Introduction: Most dance teachers prefer to teach advanced students. I however LOVE teaching beginners to watch their progress and confidence grow. Hearing a student say " I cant do that" then 10 minutes later after practice they can do it and we get to have a laugh.

I have done a lot of dance classes, and private lessons. Ballet, Modern, Jazz and a little break dancing. I wanted to do Hip-Hop. I was matched up with Yolanda. I couldn't not have found a better teacher. She is energetic, enthusiastic, encouraging ( sorry for the alliteration ) and knowledgeable. I may have done other dance work, but I had to rethink, find new ways of moving that were unfamiliar. In a very short time, after some hilarious struggles. I'm getting it. I wouldn't audition for SYTYCD, but I think now I can lay down some moves in a club. More to come for me, sticking with my girl, Yolanda!

Holy Moley!!! I had so much damn fun!!! I seriously should have gotten the ball rolling on this sooner!!!. Lessons were Super fun and unlike others who can be a bit condescending or arrogant, Yolanda put my fears at ease from the get go .She was focused,fierce & clear as a teacher but the best part is that she's also a total goof ball- really dig her teaching style!! I feel like I've learned a tonne already and feel much more confident on the dance floor than I did at the start of the year!!

As a beginner dancer, I really happy to have found a dance teacher like Yolanda! She structures a private class so I get maximum learning during our session. She listens to what I'm interested in and caters to that goal. Highly recommend her!

Yolanda has been wonderful to work with. She has definitely helped to draw out more of my ingrained rhythm (buried deep below my professional career and infrequent opportunities to dance). I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to start or step-up their game. She is incredibly supportive and patient with semi-beginners like myself.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$60 for a 4 week course in north Hollywood. ( $15 per class) or $20 casual rate. Starting Tuesday 7pm 19th July. $70/hr for a Private Lesson. You can even split this cost with one friend.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
