Hi There! First, let me say that I am not typically the "write a testimonial" kind of girl, however, when it comes to West Coast Boot Camp and Curtis...I can't resist. Curtis has the best "show in town". Who wants to wake up at the crack of dawn (and sometimes when it's still dark and cold), well I did and it made all the difference in my fitness experience. I was the typical "gym rat"...but I got bored and started to platau. Once I found Curtis, he kicked me into gear. Curtis mixes up the workouts so you are never get bored! Curtis Nelson of West Coast Boot Camp helped me get back into fighting shape after baby #3! What I love about the workouts is that they are different everyday; the exercises target all parts and has helped me rebuild my core strength. Curtis is also fantastic at tailoring the workouts to meet different fitness levels but also keep folks challenged. The time and location of the boot camp is convenient, which helps me keep my resolution to get fit and maintain a good family balance. The fresh air outside of a stuffy gym is big added bonus!

Curtis is awesome! He's knowledgeable, funny and a great motivator. He makes bootcamp fun by varying the routines. He cares about each participant and will modify the workout for you if you are having difficulty. He can be tough but in a gentle & kind way...what I refer to as a "velvet hammer". He really got me into shape and I don't know what I would do without him! He's the BEST!!!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I wish that more people understood that my job is strictly for you knowledge and encouragement. It seems sometimes that many a folk who hires a trainer has this idea that the work comes from what we do physically during a training session. That is true. You do need what a trainer does for you in the gym. But, if you truly wish to make the next step in your over all health and fitness that will benefit your life to the end, you will listen to what your trainer tells you to do outside of the gym, how to think and how to reach goals. That is the complete way of taking advantage of the money you spend on a personal trainer. If you don't take advantage of that knowledge then you are throwing money to the wind. Ask questions and look for answers and I'll give them to you. That is what I enjoy most about my job.
