My husband and I interviewed two other concrete flooring companies before deciding to go with Joel of Armadillo Floor Coatings for our home project. Joel came to our home for a consultation and estimate, he was personable, polite, informative and estimated a fair price for the work - it was literally a hands-down decision for us. On the day the work was scheduled, Joel came 15 minutes ahead of time, once again he was polite and even answered all the questions we had before, during and after the work was done. We had a grind and seal done to an addition of our home and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Joel had told us what to expect of the outcome during the consultation and estimate and it turned out exactly as he said it would- it confirmed to us that he knew what he was talking about, and we are very happy with the end product. Joel was even nice enough to patch up a couple of places in the concrete as well as do an additional seal on a different area of the home without additional costs. Thank you Joel!

Joel gave me an estimate based on our telephone call and a time frame which suited our needs. The day before the job, he came to the house and revised the bid to which we agreed. I had not given him the whole picture. He came the next day with his brother. They spent the whole day grinding and sanding until the porch was transformed. They patched cracks and filled holes. They put in extra time to do the job. Excellent work. Excellent work ethic.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Polish concrete is the most difficult system to price is not like epoxy were you know exactly how much labor is involve and material cost will be because it's a floor covering and hides all defects.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the time there's an aportunity.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It all started when I work for other companies in the similar trade and made promises to clients that never did and got away with it. When you pay good money you expect the best and I understand were humans and we make mistakes and we have to respond quick with a solution and not ignore our clients till there warranty is over.
