Turf bros installed a small area of turf for me, about 300 sqft. The sales rep arrived on time and was responsive to my emails. I had vendors come out and look at the project and Turf Bros was the only one willing to negotiate on the price. They scheduled a start and started on that date. The first sign that things were not going to go well was the project manager (Kevin) never showed up to manage the project. His workers showed up about 30 mins, not too bad, and the project went as planned. One note, one of the workers tried to hide his trash under my car and I caught him. When they were done, they cleaned up nice and left. I noticed 2 fairly distinct seams. I was told because the area was small there would be 2 pieces used but the seams were bad. The project manager never came out to verify the quality of the work nor did anyone contact me to ask about my experience. I contacted my sales rep and he said he couldnt help me because he was no longer with the company. I contacted the head of sales and he forwarded my concerns back to the project manager. Kevin contacted me a few days later and I sent him pictures of the seams. He agreed that the job needed to be addressed and said someone would be out Saturday. Saturday came and nobody showed up. He then said someone would be out on Monday, well Monday came and nobody showed up. I contacted Kevin and informed him of my frustration. I then emailed the website and then someone came out 2 days later. They didnt seem to do anything because the seams are still very noticable. No project manager nor company rep has contacted me since.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We come out to the property and inspect the area, then provide an estimate. After they decide on moving forward with the estimate, we then send a contract to the customer outlining our start/completion dates as well as other project specs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our sales reps have gone through product knowledge courses to become experts when it comes to knowing the in's and out's of a good turf product. Our install team has also had training from Turf Industry leaders along with training in irrigation, leveling, and demolition.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our founders were previously involved with working in the general landscaping field then made the transition into the turf world!
