Reid was fantastic to work with - a virtuoso in landscaping. We were moving into our new home and wanted to overhaul the patio design and landscaping by the back yard and pool. Reid was sensitive to budget, applied superb creative acumen, and was incredibly vigilant with time management and meeting deadlines. He marshaled the project from inception to completion and we could not have been happier. The project was complete by the time the moving trucks arrived at our new home. Charming, courteous, respectful - we can't wait to work with Reid again. Bravo Reid!

This individual came to my property and did not do the work he said he was going to do. Had undocumented individuals on my property. A lot of things were ruined such as speakers and wires. They looked at the sprinkler and hooked up wire across the lawn which killed my grass. Will costs $10,000 to repair. As a result of this I will be taking action against his bond.

The man begged me to fix his well driven poorly built irrigation system but never paid for my initial work. His irrigation controllers did not work but he would not replace them so of course his few plants would suffer. I have witnesses to my attempts to fix his system but my mistake was not getting a contract for one days work. He also refused payment to a maintenance crew I found for him. They are the usual mow and blow crew he asked for his large property but refused to pay ($450) because he said they broke a hose and a speaker wire. He would not let me make the repairs or replace the hose. Do the math he withheld money earned by the crew.

I hired Reid and his crew to turn my backyard iceplant covered hill that was dying into a terraced hill. The crew were here daily and did a great job. I was very pleased with the end results. The crew were very professional and aimed to please, they were done in a very timely manner and left my premises clean and tidy. Other than some minor communication problems on my part, paying attention to being better understood would be a big plus for me in any upcoming projects, otherwise all went well and I am very happy with the work that was done and love my terraced hill!

I hired Mr. Freeman to repair the drainage system in the back yard, plant deer-resistant and drought resistant plants, repair the irrigation system, and install lighting in the yard. The work was in progress for about 1-1/2 months, which was appropriate for the amount of work. I was pleased that at the start of the job Mr. Freeman wrote up a detailed contract for the work to be done and the line item costs for my approval. During the job, I made some changes to the work to be done, and Mr. Freeman wrote the change order so both work and cost changes were in writing and agreed upon. He kept me informed of the progress of the work, informed me in advance when he would be on the property, and arrived on schedule. In addition, Mr. Freeman gave me a lot of advice about fertilizing plants, time schedules for running the sprinklers, how to repot plants, and more. He works with a horticulture expert who advised me on appropriate plants for the various locations in the yard and plants that deer do not like to eat, do not require a lot of water, and do attract birds and butterflies. The work done was excellent quality - both the materials used and the workmanship in repairs and plantings. In summary, Mr Freeman fulfilled the contract with regard to work and costs. The work was completed in a timely manner with the agreed-upon costs, I was pleased with the way he and his staff did the work, and I'm pleased with the results.

Reid has been my landscaper for the past ten years. He designed my Japanese-California-Woodland garden from scratch after our remodel was completed and there was almost nothing left of our garden. He researched and planned and suggested and created a lovely space and has maintained it ever since. He is easy to work with, honest in his pricing, and will go to endless lengths to deliver what I want, even if it means re-doing something more than once because I couldn't make up my mind. He also has recommended brick masons, tree trimmers and a wonderful pond builder, all of whom have performed well. Without Reid, we would not have the special garden we have today.

Reid put in a beautiful garden in our backyard, as per my wife’s input on assorted flowers. Also, he added a beautiful concrete patio and water feature that fell into our budget for the project.
