Introduction: I am a Los Angeles-based portrait and event photographer with an interest in travel and documentary photography. I've also been dabbling in food photography recently. My style is influenced by photojournalism, so I strive to create images that are personal and tell a story. I enjoy capturing people in their natural element, without being too contrived.
My rates are reasonable and I always try to work within a given budget.
Here are some estimates, but they are subject to change depending on what you need:
Mini portrait session* - $200
Standard portrait session* - $350
Wedding coverage - $2200
*Portrait sessions include senior portraits, lifestyle, engagement, family, maternity, or boudoir photography.

We first used Michelle for some casual family pictures. My son at the time was about 2 & doesn't really sit still & also takes awhile to open up to people but Michelle had a way of capturing the right moments & getting those genuine smiles from all of us. My son adored Michelle & enjoyed the session. What my husband liked most about the session too is that they weren't all just "sit still and look at the camera" type of pics. They had an artsy take to it and we loved it so much so that we used her services again for our Christmas family pic session to use on our cards, my son's bday, additional family pics when my extended family was in town, and when my daughter was born. I always got great feedback from family and friends on the pics. And last but not least, when we decided to pack up our stuff and move from Cali to Texas where our families are at, we put up our house for sale and our realtor took pics...unfortunately via his iPhone. We weren't getting many views and my husband suggested hiring Michelle to take the pics with her wide angle lens. She did and even went above and beyond, climbing up on top of our roof to take pics of our solar panels and really capturing the great condition they were in. Once those pics were uploaded, we received so many calls and accepted an offer within a week. We couldn't believe it but we know it all had to do with the pictures we posted. Of course you shouldn't half a$$ something like that and Michelle definitely knew what we needed and got the job done. I can't say enough things about Michelle b/c I could go on and on. I've recommended her to many friends. My brother and his fiancée used her services as well for their engagement session which was so unique! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Michelle is incredibly professional and has a keen eye for generating beautiful, one-of-a-kind moments captured on camera. She makes her subjects feel comfortable in their own skin and is always willing to collaborate on shoot ideas. She delivers images in a timely manner, and they're always of the highest quality. I highly recommend her for any of your photography needs if you want images that truly capture the essence of you and your loved ones. We had been putting off professional engagement photos for some time. Michelle did our wedding photography in April 2014. Let me just say that my entire family is in the film industry and all of them were beyond impressed with her work. She captures the moments that you feel and the expressions that you hope to remember forever. We were looking for a more candid and relaxed style but still with a unique perspective. The wedding was outdoors in April. She found the light and gave us photos that we couldn't even conceptualize. I am forever grateful!

Michelle was excellent! She brought props to our shoot to get my daughters' attention. She was able to capture the poignant moments between mother and child. We loved the photos.
