- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor I have to re-certify yearly in each new iteration of the software. I am certified for QuickBooks® Pro, Point of Sale, Enterprise, Online as well as the Wave® accounting application.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a weird talent; I can multiply into the millions in my head. When I was working as a receptionist several years ago, the owner of the company shouted across the office to the bookkeeper "XYZ company needs 187 circuit boards at $15.00 each, how much is that?" I spoke up and said "it's $2,805.00". Well, the bookkeeper started giving me more responsibility and it blossomed from there.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have a really diverse client base. I work with people that need to keep track of their money - printers, landscape contractors, insurance agents, electrical contractors, construction contractors and mechanics, to name a few! Most of my clients usually need to have a QuickBooks® or Wave® account set up and maintained for them online.
