Introduction: I incorporate what we call Martial Science into our classes. Which is the development of positive character traits thru martial art training, such as teaching what, why and how to apply respect, self control, honesty and goal setting thru not only belts achievement but also short term goals such as stripe degrees of color belts... helping kids understand the importance of not only goal setting but also short term goals. Working with kids and seeing the positive changes thru martial arts.

Joe is one of the best teachers of martial arts. He strongly believes in helping his students achieve excellent form and technique. His martial arts is very practical and useful coming from the different forms of martial arts. His students always do well in competition.

Master Cooper is an excellent instructor and very patient with the tiny tigers. He has trained under numerous instructors and continues to train to this day. Outside of the classes he's a pretty fun guy to hang out with and works a lot with law enforcement programs. Can't say enough good things about the man.

Joe Cooper was my girls' karate instructor when they were younger. They both loved the class! Joe taught them respect, honor and self defense. I found they both really enjoyed the class though it was tough and challenging at times. Joe has a way with kids to get them to learn and have fun at the same time! I'd highly recommend him!!!

I think Joe is a wonderful teacher for both kids and adults. We now work with him as a whole family he's so good. My son is learning respect, self control, my husband is streching his flexiblity and I may learn to hit with real power rather than like a girl. I highly recommend his classes for everyone.

As a police officer with over 24 years of police experience, I know the importance of learning self defense. After intense research, I came across Mr. Cooper, a very humble and exteremely knowlegeable instructor. I have witnessed this National and State Karate Champion patiently instruct both children and adults. I am happy to say that I am one of Mr. Cooper's students who continues to be amazed by his knowledge and ability to instruct in a friendly class setting. You will be amazed what a great stress relief that a karate class can bring!
