Great experience with my concrete installation. I will be using them again for future projects. Highly RecommendedNov 19, 2019Verified
Eric and his father Raul did a great job. Provided a reasonable quote and completed the work in a timely manner. Job included a large patio installation in the backyard as well as stamped concrete extensions on the sides of front driveway. Job was completed on time and they cleaned up the area afterwards. I had a 3 by 20 sidewalk And a 12 by 22 patio installed By Eric and his crew at for 4 u 2 concrete I highly recommend them for any concrete work So much they're coming back next week to widen my drivewayNov 11, 2015Verified
I had shopped quotes previously via friend recommendations and most contractors insisted on seeing the scope before giving an estimate, and I was continually getting quoted higher ( often extremely higher) than my friends because I can only guess , I live in an area with higher than average housing prices and it is thus assumed that I can somehow afford to pay much more? 4U2 were the first if many to just give me an honest estimate range for labor and materials without knowing my zip code. Once we hired them, Eric kept me up to date every step of the way. He suggested we keep the front lighter to meld with the brick etc. Raul impressed me with his "eye" for design and function. I wanted a, he suggested b. and x and y. Eric translated. We trusted. It turned out beautifully! They had it done in under three days. I have had several other contractors to do additional work out here since they installed this and they have all asked for their names as they were so impressed by the work. Negatives? We had electrical and gas lines marked by city before they arrived. They inadvertently and inevitably pierced both our sprinkler and cable lines when digging and placing stakes. We hadn't contracted with them not to do so, so we just fixed them. I imagine we maybe could have called them back to fix it, but I pretty much wrote that off as " we paid them to install the concrete, not to psychically figure out where Comcast and whomever, whenever put the sprinklers"?Sep 16, 2017Verified
I thought this concrete project with 4U2 Concrete was an exceptional value. 6" concrete pad under deck and also a big load of 3/4" river rock for landscaping completed. Hard Work, satisfied customer.Sep 24, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All our prices included 4000 psi straight concrete, wire mesh as steel, road base as sub level, compacted, dowels into foundation where applicable. Our prices include everything that is needed. Prices our final unless any changes our made and we will only charge the product cost at that point.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We always ask to come out and meet our customers before hand so we can get to know each other and discuss options. Once we are hired we come out before hand do an overview of the project and make sure everyone is on the same page. We then get our clients and ourselves fill out a contract and get on the schedule. We then come out and work and have our clients along the whole process to make sure everything is to our clients approval.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked over 20 years with concrete. We know alot of custom designs and how to make your dream job come true. We attend various decorative concrete programs, also attend almost every concrete exposition every year. We study about products that can be used on concrete to offer you the best options and longest most durable product.
