Hired to fix a non working gfi outdoor outlet, plus adding 2 outlets to a bedroom. Also replaced the face of another outlet. Pricing quote was very favorable for each. Good job on the bedroom outlets. Couldn’t locate the GFI issue after an hour looking around and said he would come back with a line tracer when he bought one 4 days later. I had someone else come and it was done in 5min at no charge because it didn’t need a tracer and they said that should have been very clear where the reset was. It was a gfi in basement that just needed to be clicked to reset the exterior outlet. I sent this to Chris with pictures prior to me writing this review but no response. Responsiveness was great on front end to my initial request but because they were so booked up and fit me in it made for a choppy day (said was leaving for an hour and came back 3hrs later - and almost not at all) and left an unfinished gfi outlet job - but I was asked to pay for full job and a handshake and written contract that he would come back with the line tracer to figure out the gfi within 4 days. I regretfully agreed but then had a second thought to just get this done by someone who knew exactly how to address this issue. After being asked to pay for undone work and him not knowing how to diagnose a simple problem, it just didn’t sit right with me. I ended up out $50 in the process, or at least it seems that way (paid $400 and $50 of the invoice bill was not finished and no communication back). Chris was a nice person to interact with and clearly working hard to start his business - but a few things with this interaction didn’t go well and no communication since leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I like to do a flat rate. that way the price is set up front. there's no hidden charges and no surprises. Just a pre-set price so the customer can know exactly what the cost is upfront.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to be flexible and want to hear what is in their mind as for what they really want. I want to hear everything about their expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I also have an electronics degree, as well I am a certified machinist
