FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't think that I have a complicated pricing system, but often potential costumers ask for quotes, providing very sketchy info. Painting is not like other trades, were some prices are fixed. The cost of painting depend in diverse factors, like condition, accessibility, damages to repair, type of area, method of applying the paint etc. I ask the potential costumer to have an appointment with me, so I can visually see the property in order to provide accurate estimates. Painting involve many details, and accuracy in very important.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally the contact is done by mail, later by phone if the person is interested in my services.I explain the costumer what will be involved in the process, and offer optimal results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I complete my training working with contractors as helper for 5 years. Then later I joint the painters union and become a journeyman. I finished a Building Maintenance course, and attend MATC to learn faux finishes and mixing colors. I also received training in the use of aerial pkatforms, such as boom and scissor lift. I learn from other painters and thru videos and books.
