Good, old-fashioned hustle! We just moved into a new construction home in parker last fall. The backyard was a blank canvas and we wanted it all. Josh knocked on the door and asked if we had plans for the backyard yet. I had already received 2 bids but thought Id see what he came up with. We ended up getting a flag stone patio, flag stone fire pit and a very nice backyard with lots of great plants, bushes and a couple really big trees. Josh and his team were easy to work with and willing to make changes on the fly. By the way . . . They were also thousands of dollars cheaper than the other 2 bids. They want you to be as involved as you want to be. Great job josh, Jason, Roberto and the entire crew

We have a couple major remodel projects under our belts, and Blue Sky Hardscapes & Irrigation was the first time we can say we really had nothing but a positive experience. Josh and his team hustled every day, from Day 1 to completion and clean-up, to make sure their estimates were accurate, their word was honored, weather was managed around, materials arrived on time, and the quality of work was something theyd be proud to put in their portfolio to show off for themselves. We appreciated the steady communication throughout the project and were thoroughly impressed with how coordinated and hard working the whole team was across the board; excavation, electrical, gaswork, stonework, pavers and plantings. They were even great at accommodating our on-the-fly requests, to make sure we dialed right in on exactly what we wanted, as the project area took shape. If we ever have another outdoor project, wed have no hesitation going with Blue Sky again.

We contacted Blue Sky Hardscapes in December 2019 after a previous contractor we hired in July 2019 abandoned our job. Our back yard needed a complete overhaul. Josh came in, let's say it was Monday, gave us a quote on Saturday and by Sunday morning his team was working in our back yard. The entire job was complete in a little less than a month and this is through the winter!Obviously, the timeline the project was completed was impressive, especially given out experience with the other company, and the work is AMAZING, but those are not the reasons I'm rating Blue Sky Hardscapes as excellent.I'm sure there are many companies that can keep a project on a timeline. There are probably hundreds of companies in the Denver-metro area that do amazing work. But what separates Blue Sky from allllllll the others is Josh. His integrity as a business owner. The pride he takes in his work. And his honesty.Our back yard was done in the dead middle of winter. Josh told us that if we had any problems in the spring (sod not growing, dead plants, problems with the sprinkler, etc) to call him and he will take care of it. I have to be honest, we've worked with many contractors that say one thing while the job is being done and once they get paid you never hear from them again. I intentionally waited until now to give this review. Not only did Josh do EXACTLY what he said he would do from the time we met him, but he has over delivered!Since we hired Blue Sky back in December 2019, we've found out that at least two of our friends have used him in the past and are equally impressed with his work and his work ethic. Another one of our friends has hired him to do their back yard based on our recommendation. And we are looking to have Blue Sky come out to take care of our front yard.Hands down. If you are looking for a company that can do more than keep a project on time and do amazing work, Blue Sky is who you should go with. Josh is a stand up business owner and his team is the best in the business.Thanks to Blue Sky Hardscapes and Josh, we have the BEST back yard on the block, hands down.

Edit: Original estimator called immediately after venting my frustration with the person who took my call, apologized for my wait, and told me he would get me the estimate ASAP. Really appreciate his follow up and owning the issue! Great character. Changed to 5 Star because, to this point, everyone has taken ownership of their role in the estimate process. And everything about this company indicates they do great work. Obviously theyre very busy right now.I scheduled an estimate on a Monday, guy shows up (very friendly), promises estimate by Wednesday.I call one week later (5 days after estimate was promised). I was then promised a call back by noon the next day.I called again 2 days later. The person taking the call told me that they are busy and she would ask them if they were interested in my project. More conversation ensued from there and I was fairly upset.
