- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Steven Elie, the sole owner, moved to Minneapolis from Grosse Pointe Woods, MI in 1990. He currently lives in Edina, MN is married with two girls (Ava 14 and Elena 18 who currently swimming for USD). He spent the first fifteen years of his business career in MN providing finance, consulting and recruiting services to local automotive dealers. In 2005 Steven formed SE Advantage Services Inc. From 2005 to 2010 SE provided construction lending to local builders. It also partnered with several local builders on new construction projects in SW Minneapolis and Edina in the $5OOK to $IM price range. One of its projects was featured in the 2010 Luxury Home Tour. In 2011 Steven converted SE Advantage Services to (DBA) Superior Exteriors Inc. and began to focus on retail and insurance exterior restoration. He also formed American Exteriors in Colorado. Since then it has provided services to more than 3000 customers in the Mid-West. SE's corporate headquarters is in Edina, MN and has additional offices in Rochester – MN, Denver – CO, Dallas-Fort Worth – TX and Lincoln – NE.
