At Blue Square Writers Studio, you get more than just editing. You'll become a better writer while on your way to publishing a great book.
I'm not just an editor, I'm also a writer. I earned my Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and write every morning. Since I've been where my clients are, I understand the challenges inherent in writing. I know and can teach the more advanced concepts because I've worked through them all myself. I don't just find the misspelled words or comma splices, I help you craft each element of a full story.
While other editors charge upwards of several thousand dollars per project, I charge only $3.75 per page, and there are never any hidden fees or unexpected costs. Also better than my competitors, my return time is faster. I can have your work back to you in 7-10 days. You're not going to find another company that gives you such experienced and personalized attention with such a quick return for such a reasonable price.
I love writing my own stories. I love reading other people's stories. And I love knowing that I'm helping my clients while at the same time they're allowing me to practice what I love.

I recently hired Christopher to edit my large project. He has excellent knowledge of writing and a knack for teaching his clients to become better writers. I am slowly revising my novel through his guidance and critiques and already know my story has become much better. Not only that, I can see how much I have personally improved in my delivery to the readers. I'm very excited to see how my final work turns out, and will definitely be using Christopher in the future.

I've published four books so far and worked with several editors in the process. Blue Square Writers Studio ranks in the top range. Christopher was clear and upfront with pricing, schedule and expectations. As an author, I thought the manuscript for my debut novel was finished. HAH! His notes and suggestions will take my work to the next level. I will definitely work with him for future projects.

I hired Blue Square Writers Studio to perform a developmental edit on my science fiction manuscript, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The editor demonstrated deep insight into narrative structure, character development, pacing, and thematic clarity.
What impressed me most was the thoughtful, detailed feedback that went far beyond surface-level edits. They helped me see structural opportunities I hadn’t noticed, sharpened character arcs, and provided concrete suggestions that strengthened the story's emotional impact and overall cohesion. His comments were clear, constructive, and grounded in a strong understanding of genre and craft.
Communication was professional and timely throughout the process, and I always felt supported and respected as a writer. This revision not only improved my manuscript but also enhanced it. I’m confident the changes will resonate with readers and make the final version significantly stronger.
I highly recommend Blue Square Writers Studio to any author looking for thoughtful, expert developmental editing that truly moves a manuscript forward. I will be using his services again.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the page so that my clients and I can work on only what the client needs. There's no need to reset the entire project when you just need help with Chapter Four. It also means I can work on short stories or epic novels and still have straightforward and up-front pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we've agreed to work together, the operation is simple:
1) Send me your manuscript
2) Relax while I edit
3) Within 7 days, I'll deliver your line-edited manuscript along with a ~6 page Lessons document with big picture issues and detailed lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my MFA in Creative Writing. For those unfamiliar with an MFA degree, it's a graduate degree in creating our own writing (my final thesis is a publishable book), studying both past and contemporary authors, and analyzing the myriad aspects that go into telling a story -- all with published novelists and current editors/agents in the field.
