Training with Jen is an awesome experience! I used to feel so lost and clueless when I went to the gym and worked out, I never knew what to do or how many reps to do - it was frustrating and overwhelming. But after starting to train with Jen that all changed completely! Training with her has given me more confidence not only in myself but also within the gym atmosphere by learning what kind of exercises to do based on my body and fitness goals - YES! She has also showed me that working out can be fun AND empowering! She pushes me to be my best even when I have nothing left, helps me tap into my full potential, supports me every step of the way in my fitness goals, and inspires me every day. Her enthusiasm, positive attitude, sweet spirit, and high energy are infectious! Its always a fun day when training with her in the way she mixes up what we do each time and throughout each session - whether we work with weights, pilates, resistance bands, machines, yoga balls (and so much more she is very creative!) or my favorite, dancing! What I love is that she really listens to what I want to focus on and what kind of work I need that day and she always comes up with an awesome plan that suits my needs and pushes me further than I thought I could. Our sessions are full of laughs, sweat, more reps than I thought I had in me thanks to her encouragement, and lots of FUN! She is an incredible trainer and now a dear friend and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a fantastic personal training experience.

I have had low back pain for 12 years. I was referred to Tara by a friend at work, and I worked with her for about 2 years. She is very in tune with my symptoms and the best way to modify a workout depending on the symptoms I am displaying on a given day. After 9 months, Tara suggested I consider doing Physical Therapy (PT). I was reluctant, having been there already, but she persisted and after much digging on her part she found someone who also had a member of staff that did Pilates, thinking that the combined disciplines would be beneficial. I had nothing to lose so I went in for an evaluation and did PT for about a year, and it has really made a difference in my pain. It seems the combination of Pilates and PT are very good for working out the kinks in my back. I highly recommend Tara.

As an instructor, she is clear, dynamic, understanding, sympathetic, challenging, and fun! Her knowledge and understanding of the Pilates method are unparalleled, and all of that aside, she's just a pretty awesome lady!

Wendy has been a savior and an inspiration. I have gone to Wendy's pilates classes and grown stronger and more flexible. But more important to me have been her physical therapy treatments. She has evaluated my strengths, weaknesses, and issues carefully and then tailors her massage and muscle activation therapy to put me back out on my long distance cycling sport. I really appreciate the fact that she teaches me what the specific body parts are doing and how to correct my techniques with exercises and body positioning. She has treated my back, hips, knees, and shoulders. As a 53 year old retired marathon runner and triathlete with hyper-mobile joints that haven't worn well, I really appreciate having Wendy to keep me out of pain and still active. I have been to several physical therapists over the years and she is by far the BEST!
