FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes solo acoustic guitarist for 2-3 hours starts at $300 for local events and the 4 pc dance band for 2-3 hours starts at $1200. Prices can go up depending on level of customization, timeline, package deals with multiple segments to the event such as wedding ceremony guitarist, then jazz cocktail quartet, then dance band for reception etc...this is why I like to have client email me all relevant info, and also set up a brief phone call to discuss how I can best serve their needs, and create the perfect package for their event!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I request all info, and schedule a phone call to discuss details. This simple process insures I give an accurate price quote, and that I have the info I need to insure the event runs smoothly day of!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a FT musician for 22 yrs, I studied formally at UCD denver in music performance and sound technology, Im a multi award winning songwriter, studio owner and music coordinator. I have all the skills needed to insure clients events run smoothly, sound great, create the perfect ambiance with customize playlists and special requests, and professional sound technician so it sounds amazing! There is a huge difference in having formal training in both music and sound technology as many bands dont have professional training in how to set up and run a sound system. The same way a professional photographer has many more professional skills than someones cousin with an iphone, musicians with formal training and sound tech degree provide MUCH higher quality results!
