Introduction: Hello! I'm a photographer based in Colorado and Upstate NY specializing in weddings + elopements but also engagements, family and boudoir. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work but soon upon finishing decided to follow my dream of being a photographer on a whim. It's been the best decision I've ever made. My style is very candid. I like to keep my shoots fun and playful. I will walk you through poses but they are usually just to get you both laughing :) I am a total open book and love meeting new people even if I don't end up being the photographer/style you are looking for. Everything about Emily was just wonderful! She drove all the way out to Avon from Denver to take our pictures. She showed up on time and with a smile on her face. She instantly made me and my fiance feel comfortable. She has a great eye and ideas to make beautiful photos. She took our pictures on Saturday, and by Sunday she had all of the edited photos back to us. She is simply incredible. I can't recommend her enough!

My Finance and I got our engagement photos done with Emily. We encountered issues that made us have to reschedule twice. Emily was responsive and understanding with these issues and was able to reschedule our shoot. We were nervous about taking professional photos and not sure how to make them look good. Emily made us feel very comfortable and by the end we were having a lot of fun! The pictures turned out so beautiful, better then we could have expected. We highly recommend using Emily for your photos!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is negotiable and I run discounted "mini" sessions often because I want everyone to have access to my work if they like it.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to at least have a phone conversation before any type of shoot. It's important to me to know what type of feel you are going for, get to know you better and talk about locations for shooting!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my work has been self-taught and guided by a mentor of mine who is a professional photographer.
