What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, we often take additional training ourselves or we host other well known industry experts and learn along side other professionals. We also offer various programs for developing broader skills and then we offer Instructor Level Courses regularly in addition to User Level programs. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A great example of customized training recently has come up. That is we where approached by a non-profit Law Enforcement Training Foundation about the possibility of providing some customized training for a specific grant they wanted to try for. We helped them develop the course outline, the training objectives and everything. They submitted it and was given the grant. Now 20-25 Rural Law Enforcement Officers will be getting a great course on a specialized topic that they would have otherwise never be able to get and we are now in the process of delivering that program and hope to grow it into a much larger one to benefit other agencies.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Research the market and make sure your finding a trainer that is a good fit with your needs.
