I had Michael and his associate install some track lighting, caulk the shower, fix a light, install a new door, fix broken shutters, and do some painting. All were completed very professionally. They do a great job. Would recommend and hire again.
Todd arrived yesterday right on time with his apprentice electrician. The job was to remove the existing fluorescent lighting in two bathrooms and replace with either vanity lighting or recessed lighting. Todd was extremely helpful during his estimate making suggestions that I hadn't considered. They also installed canned lighting in our vaulted living room ceiling. There were several decisions to be made along the way, and Todd was most helpful in helping me decide which way to go. They were really great with setup (carefully moving furniture and protecting valuables), worked extremely hard all day, and cleaned up after themselves too. I would highly recommend these very skilled professionals from Carefree...and ask for Todd specifically to do your job - you won't be disappointed!!! Sue A
Chris did a fantastic job on the projects in my home. I originally hired him to mount my TV and hide all wires, etc. Then I asked (prior to his visit) if he could swap out some light fixtures while here. He did all of these projects with expertise and care for my home. His fee is very fair and I feel he provided full value for the work done. I'd hire him again in a minute. Highly recommend!
Brian came out and was able to diagnose the problem with a lighting fixture, electronic fireplace, and a couple outlets for a very reasonable price. He was also very friendly and explained everything he was doing.
Couldn't say enough good things about Simpson Home Services. My situation was that I had a water heater go out at a rental property. The pilot light wouldn't stay lit and after one of the bigger named company charged me $300 for parts in their attempt to fix, that company on their 3rd visit decided I needed to replace the water heater, where they conveniently had one in their truck outside ready to go, for the sweet price of $2400. After shopping the actual units at Home Depot / Lowes, I quickly saw that $2400 for a new Water Heater is legitimate robbery. Enter Charlie from Simpson Home Services. His price was fair (got about 6 Bids from Thumbtack) and he was very responsive. Here is where it gets better. Some might think Im crazy, or to trust worthy, but, with my current day job I was unable to get to Home Depot to purchase the water heater. Therefore my only option was to have Charlie from Simpson Home Services go to Home Depot, pull the unit and have Home Depot ring me and use my Home Depot Card and Social Number as a form of payment. At that point, it could have been real daylight Robbery. I had (and still haven't), ever met Charlie in person. My only communication had (still has!) been over phone, but he had great reviews on thumbtack already so I knew we would be ok. Once he completed the job, I paid him over the phone using my debit card. Sure enough, writing this today some weeks after Charlie did his work. My New Water heater is working perfectly and I couldn't say enough good things about Charlie from Simpson Home Services. His work is legit, he gets 10 Stars for Trustworthiness and honesty and I would definitely without a doubt hire him again. ***For anyone installing a water heater and questioning the whole permit situation. I did a lot of research and there seems to be mixed ideas about wether you have to pull a permit or don't have to. I have even been out looking at purchasing a new house here in Denver over the last few weeks and I asked my realtor about permits on replacement water heaters and even she had mixed ideas. So then I went to that iPhone / Android Neighborhood App that everyone is on and planted my question there, also mixed reviews about pulling permits. I think the general concensios is do it if you really want to. If your reselling your house, the buyer might ask to see a permit, but in todays market (sellers market still in 2018), it might not be questioned at that stage. Point being, my research showed 50/50 on who would and who wouldn't. Either way you go, you can still use Charlie and Simpson Home Services as I did. He completes the work, you then apply for the permit, they come inspect it and then your done. I wanted to share this as this is the route I took. I also trust Charlie and Simpson Home Services enough that if the inspector had found a problem, that Charlie would have made a Trip back to fix it for free*** Thanks again Charlie (still haven't met you!) And thank you Thumbtack for yet another sweet hookup to a quality Tradesman.
Dave was very professional, always on time, and took the time to do the job right. I appreciated how reliable he was and his attention to detail. He completed a subway tile backsplash, installed a faucet, gas cooktop, as well as an outdoor light fixture. He adjusted many little things in my kitchen that were off (cabinet hinges, doors) and did some painting for me. I think he can do it all in terms of home improvement and I would definitely work with him in the future and recommend him for other projects.
we could not have been more pleased with the work that Iggy did for us.....he completed the electrical circuitry and lighting for our finish basement project on time and at a more reasonable price than our other 3 bids.....we were particularly impressed with the amount of overhead lights he installed.....2 dozen for our 1200 sq ft area WOW!....he was very courteous and personable...thanks Iggy....GREAT JOB!!
Jose and his wife are a wonderful team. His prices were great compared to many other estimates we saw. We had two ceiling fans installed into rooms that didn't have ceiling fans or lights previously and one replacement ceiling fan. Even though they ran into some hiccups with the wiring and it took a lot longer than expected, they did not charge me more than the original estimate. I will be asking them to come back again for a couple more lighting projects that I have coming up!
Jerry installed some new recessed lights for me. He was fast and efficient.
we had exterior lights that weren't working. Kenny came out on time and was able to troubleshoot the issues. he rewired the lights put in new bulbs and everything is working great. the job was done professionally, quickly, and was a good value. Many thanks to Kenny. we will use him for future jobs.
Bill and Josiah were a huge help in getting our older home move-in-ready with ceiling fan installs, new outlets, circuits, kitchen lighting, and they remedied some really dangerous attic wiring for us. I trust them completely and can’t wait to hire them again!
Ken did a great job for my lighting/wiring project. I would use him again.
Matt moved the location of the pendant lights in my kitchen. Matt did a great job. He is deticated to doing good work. His pricing is fair and he is punctual. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.
Chris was very responsive to my issue and fixed the lighting issue in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company.
Excellent job. He installed 3 recess lights. He is punctual, fair price, communicate at all the time, hard worker. He is schedule to install a padlock on our door too. Very skilled and handy. Will contract again.
I had a few simple light issues that I wanted an electrician take a look at and David was perfect. He found the problem with my fixture right away and was able to fix it right then and there!
Jorge’s work quality is superb. It’s apparent that his skill set is vast, as he made quick work of analyzing a questionable lighting setup in one our bedrooms. The situation was resolved in an efficient and meticulous manner. Our family will use his service’s again.
I hired Andrew to install a new ceiling fan & light fixture. Great price, great service, arrived on time, did a wonderful job. I discussed a future project and will use him again.
Honest, prompt, clean, courteous, affordable and good! I had Tony install some lighting in a hard to reach location. He and his partner did an excellent job. I have found an electrician I can depend on. I would definitely recommend Tony to anyone needing some electrical work.
Working with Clint the past years has been fantastic. He continues to provide quality work at a reasonable rate for a variety of projects including general handyman work, light electrical and plumbing, and most any repairs needed. Clint is reliable and very responsive and is highly recommended with his professionalism.
I hired Mile High Wiring Services to install some fans and replace the old lighting in my basement with recessed lighting. They did an excellent job. He was on time, worked clean, friendly (I felt very comfortable with him in my home), everything works and looks great. Not to mention he was the lowest bid I received. Very happy with his work. Well be using them again for future projects. Thanks, Dan
