FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide upfront pricing before any work begins. Pricing depends on the vehicle year, make, model, and key type (standard key, transponder, smart key, or push-to-start). There are no hidden fees — travel within Castle Rock is included. I’ll confirm the exact price once I verify the vehicle and key type. Emergency and after-hours service may vary. My goal is to provide dealer-level service at competitive local pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you contact me, I’ll ask for your vehicle year, make, model, and whether you have a working key. This allows me to confirm compatibility and provide accurate pricing. I come to your location fully equipped with advanced programming tools and key cutting equipment. After verifying ownership, I cut and program the key on-site and test everything before leaving to ensure it works properly. Most jobs are completed in 30–60 minutes depending on the vehicle.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I specialize in modern automotive key cutting and programming. I use professional-grade diagnostic and key programming equipment to service most domestic and foreign vehicles. I stay current with modern immobilizer and smart key systems and invest in up-to-date tools to properly service newer vehicles. Vehicle ownership verification is always required before programming.
