- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will always do a pre-session meeting (in person or via email) to find out your exact needs and style (optional clothing style guide available upon request). We will be in contact in the days leading up to your session or event (if someone gets sick or there's an emergency just let us know!). The day of the shoot I will do whatever it takes to make you and your group feel completely at ease. I have been known to sing silly songs to get kiddos to smile and relax! I am a perfectionist in my editing but I usually have all photos completed and uploaded to our online gallery in 1-2 weeks (3 weeks for a wedding). After this Tim or I can meet with you and help you make your selections for prints, canvases, photo albums or other art. We hope you love our photography and will print and preserve it for your home!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been doing photography as a hobby since I was a teenager and in the last few years really enjoyed taking photos for friends and family (and so many of my children). Last year my husband encouraged me to take my hobby into a full time business and I'm so grateful he did!
