Introduction: Hi there. My name is Jonathan Tierney, and I have worked in the restaurant industry for more than 14 years. Other than my time in the military, I have spent most of my working life in kitchens. Cooking has been my biggest passion in life since I was about 11 years old. I have not gone through formal culinary training; however, I believe my decade of experience more than makes up for that. I have references available as well. You can see from my pictures that presentation is extremely important to me. I consider myself an artist & food my medium.
My most recent experience was as a line cook for St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem where I cooked for 400-500 people as well as handled multiple catered events daily. I recently resigned from that position to take on the role of stay-at-home dad and focus on the things most dear to me; those being my family and my art(cooking more intimate and artistic meals). It is for this reason I have chosen to go the route of personal chef. It is an easy way to make a little money for my family while continuing to hold onto my passion and hone my craft. I would be more than happy to be apart of your next date night, dinner party or holiday dinner.

I have always loved cooking, ever since taking over dinner duties for my family at about 11 years old. I love the artistic side of cooking. Plus, it can be very therapeutic also. To me there is nothing better at the end of a long day than putting on some music and cooking dinner for my wife and children.
