- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price varies some depending on location and needs. For routine care with limited or no medication administration I charge $17.00 a visit. I do offer discounts for long trips or for repeat customers. Visits are 30 minuets or so in length (depending on need) and include checking the mail, watering plants, bringing in packages, play time for pets, walks, fresh food and water and litter box cleaning. Other services are available upon request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet new customers we schedule a time to meet for an interview. I have many letters of recommendation and current customers who are willing to be contacted for information. During the interview we discuss the needs of the pet and the family to see if I am able to accommodate what is needed. I also like to meet the pets to ensure there is a good connection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Colorado Mountain College in 1991 with an Associates in Veterinary Technology and have worked In the field here in Colorado Springs since 1993.
