Introduction: As a voice teacher, it is my goal to foster great musicianship, as well as good technique. Music is an art that will last a lifetime. I am a professional singer who has performed with The Colorado Springs Philharmonic, The Colorado Springs Chamber Orchestra, Opera Theatre of the Rockies and at Colorado College and The Broadmoor Hotel, as well as in several concerts and operatic productions throughout the region. I work with high school and college students to prepare for auditions and competitions, adults who have never had an opportunity to explore their voice or want to get back into singing, and I have many students who are in local bands that perform around town, who are working on expanding their range and getting a more relaxed sound especially in the top part of their range. Most of my students work on songs in different languages and will sing everything from Classical and Musical Theater to Jazz and Opera. Weekly lessons are available in Briargate and Downtown Colorado Springs. I offer competitive rates and high-quality instruction, focusing on healthy technique, ear training, and reading music (theory) and Alexander Technique - including performing skills and opportunities. I love helping people explore their voice. Understanding the physiology of what is happening when you sing is important, but most important is understanding the sensations that you feel when you make your most free sounds!
