Katelynn was absolutely wonderful to work with; she patiently assisted us in finding the correct location since we were unfamiliar with the area. She was so welcoming once we met up and was engaged with us throughout the photoshoot, making us feel extremely comfortable 'posing' and taking candids. She gently suggested some poses that would allow her to capture a variety images and moments that we wanted - many laughing, a few more 'posed' ones and lots of candids. It all proved to be a VERY fun time! She was clear about what we would be able to expect and when to expect it; she delivered exactly what she told us but I couldn't have imagined just how great the edits were as well as the various schemes that she provided us. It was all very well coordinated, files were very organized and easy to obtain/download. I truly recommend her as she is a very fun person to work with, professional and makes you feel extremely comfortable in front of a lens (if you are like us and more on the shy side!)

Katelynn's work is phenomenal. I live in California and flew my (at the time) girlfriend to Colorado to propose. I'd never been to Colorado and didn't know anyone who lived there. After finding Katelyn on Thumbtack, she worked with me to plan out the entire process. This was a very difficult task given all the variables, but she met us at Sprague Lake near Estates Park, where I surprised my (now) fiance with the question, the ring, and an unbelievable photo shoot. Putting words to the photos wouldn't do them justice, so it's best to just view on her website.
The most impressive part of working with Katelynn was that she drove up from Colorado Springs, a 3-hour drive to Sprague Lake. She had a photo shoot scheduled after us in Denver, but her client canceled last minute, so she spent an additional 30+ minutes taking shots for free, and hooked us up with some extra edited photos at no additional charge.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I start working with a new client I start by going over their ideas. Next we will discuss budget, and go over service expectations.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started at a young age, I always had a deep love for photography and cinematography. I took several film and photography classes including summer camps and college classes at UCCS.
