- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My going rate is generally between $25-35/ hr for tutoring $40-60/ hr for private yoga lessons, or if over 3 people $15 per person. All rates are negotiable, contact me
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 200-hr integrative vinyasa certified yoga teacher (Root Yoga, Denver, CO). I have a literature degree from Duke University (2012) and am heading to graduate school this fall, for a creative writing and poetics MFA at Naropa University in Boulder.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a poet and a creative writer, currently trying to get some of my own work finished and published. I tutor reading and writing because those are my greatest talents, because so many people are asking for help in those areas, and because it gives me great joy to help others. I got into yoga because sitting at a computer all day will certainly take a toll on your body and I am interested in leading a well-rounded lifestyle. Plus, there is truly nothing else that stretches the body, mind, & spirit all at once.
