I’m more then extremely happy with the out come of hiring Joanna Floribus as my attorney. I had a case against me revolving around custody violations that the father of my child filed with his attorney 9 months prior. Not having any experience in the court system and not having any one to represent me, I was not doing things that needed and should’ve been done. We have a messy history and several other court cases going on at the same time. My case was complicated and crazy. I had been manipulated and taken advantage of during those 9 months that made my case more complicated and difficult. I was naïve and uneducated and had no idea what I was doing. Unable to pay for an attorney I struggled and didn’t understand the lawyer talk and wording in most of the documents I received. 2 weeks before my court date I started to realize I couldn’t possibly have a Good out come representing myself. I was seeing how serious it was and things weren’t Gonna get resolved out side of court and then I was blessed with enough funds to hire someone. I called so many lawyer offices I found on google and started applying every where I could, scrambling, panicking, freaking out that i was doomed. I was at risk for, jail time, losing my child, having court order treatment plans, and the list continues. Out of all the calls I made and emails I sent I was able to talk to many attorneys. Only 2 lawyers out of them all agreed to represent me. Every other one told me I was doomed, there was no hope, that I messed up, that no one would represent me. Being a victim of Domestic Violence for well over a decade, I’m already scared of every thing, easily shaken up, still coming out of isolation , feeling alone, and lacked self esteem, and confidence. Every lawyer I spoke to had experience was well educated and telling me I’m done for really terrified me. The day before court I find Joanna! It’s trial not just b a court date. I was supposed to have things submitted and I missed every dead line. So it did look really bleak for me. So with in only a few short hours I sent her all the documents I had for the case and she reviewed them, studied them, and was completely prepared and prepped me for trial. She was confident! Relaxed! And ready! I’ve been talking about my case to family and friends for months And they couldn’t keep any of the stuff straight even tho they heard it multiple times. I told her every thing once and she remembered important details. That’s how you know she was listening. To feel heard was amazing all in its self. We walked in there and with in 30 mins she had resolved my whole case! No going back to court. No more fighting things out. She put a end to my nightmare. She not only resolved my case with fairness and fast. She walked in having the other attorney acting like a untamed snarling wolf growling at her, by the time we left he was like a trained house broken puppy rolling on his back wanting his belly rubbed. I was terrified walking into that court thinking my life was gonna be over and I was able to walk out with a smile on my face!! She was incredible and she saved me in many ways not just in court. She sat down with me and educated me after words. Out of the kindness of her heart. She chose to do that. Didn’t have to. That meant allot to me! Now I feel confident going forward to not end up back in a situation like that again!! She actually cared! She could of been ok great, nice to meet u, ur welcome, bye And left. But she didn’t. She saw me! Heard me! And cared about my long term out come. She was a miracle that gave me a real chance. Thanks to her I can start over and have a real fresh start. She gave me my life back! She did more then what’s on her job description. No matter what going forward if I need a lawyer, I’m going to hire her again!! She’s educated , experienced, professional, punctual, and focused. She was worth every penny. She’s exactly what I needed in my corner. I couldn’t be happier with the out come!! So Thank You Joanna. I appreciate all that you did for me! U saved my life! Absolutely recommended Joanna Floribus. You can’t go wrong! She’s the whole package! She’ll take care of you and do the right thing. That’s exactly what you need when you’re hiring a lawyer. To know someone is really going to bat or you and take your case seriously and be passionate about it. She was the only one that was straight forward with me with out causing

Joanna is an exceptional lawyer, and I’m thrilled to have her on my side.I followed her from another law firm, because she is the only lawyer I can trust. Joanna is incredibly detailed-oriented because She genuinely cares about your problems and treats them as if they were her own. I’ve never felt judged or dismissed when speaking to her or her paralegal, Leslie. Leslie is also very responsive to emails and messages. Together, they make an unstoppable team. They’ve gone above and beyond for me, even answered questions outside of normal business hours. Joanna has handled multiple cases for myself. Divorce, modifying parenting plans and guardianship.

Joanna is just super! She walked in with short notice and took charge. She really saved the day for us! On her own she negotiated a good outcome for us, though the apposing side held all the cards. She not only handled the immediate situation for us, she then spent time educating and coaching my daughter. She is not only smart, experienced and knowledgeable, but she is likable. She went above and beyond our expectations. We'll work with her again!
